Talwar Nritya is a powerful and vibrant folk dance performed by the Bhil tribal community residing in the central districts of Gujarat—Panchmahal, Mahisagar, and Dahod. Named after the prominent use of swords (Talwar), this dance showcases heroism, celebration, and tribal unity. Whether during festivals, fairs, weddings, or rituals, Talwar Nritya reflects the joy, cultural pride, and martial legacy of the Bhil people.

- Weapons Used: Traditional swords (talwars) handled artistically during the dance.
- Steps (Chalas): Performed in seven distinct styles, representing various battle-ready postures and rhythm patterns.
- Performers: Men primarily perform with swords, while women join in with rhythmic steps and tribal musical instruments, adding color and harmony.
